Visage-Nico and Oncology Aesthetics

  • Oncology aesthetics is essentially a form of cosmetic medical treatment aimed at serving people with or recovering from cancer. A person living with cancer must face many changes including the possibility of a loss of the vitality and health of their skin. When dealing with these difficult moments in life, one’s appearance and lifestyle should, at minimum, remain the same as much as possible, if not more enriched. That’s why our Visage-Nico skin care studio environment is designed to be comfortable, serene and private. This is where our highly skilled staff blended custom tailored skin care formulations able to address those specific concerns that impact your skin.

As a certified Trainer/Educator with the American Cancer Society, Nicolle Branning, Director-owner–aesthetician, teaches the “Look Good Feel Better” program for women at Scripps Green Hospital and Scripps memorial Hospital in La Jolla. In addition, she serves as a volunteer board member/photographer for the City of Hope’s Women’s Council that is dedicated to conducting innovative research for cancer cures/HIV/Diabetes other successful healing therapies for the body.

Due to the effects of chemotherapy, medications, environment and many more factors, individuals who undergone any oncology treatments and use medications can experience effects such as skin photosensitivity, dryness, rashes and loss of eyelashes, eyebrows, and hair. There are many difficult-to-control issues with oncology aesthetics, but we at Visage-Nico, are dedicated to mitigating the visible affects of the disease and its treatments upon our clients esteem and appearance. We offer an experienced and empowering team plus educational information to assist with the heightened sensitivity to your condition while teaching you or your loved one the proper tools to face every new day with a “good look.”

We understanding that, with each new day, you can expect your body to feel different. Because of this, we know how important it is for you or for your loved one to receive a full hour of bliss. Our treatments last about an hour and 15 minutes, unless we’re working with a child or adolescent (45 minutes). It’s important to advise us at Visage-Nico as to how you are feeling, particularly if you’re not feeling up to par as needed for a visit to our offices. We can make arrangements for visiting you at your home or bedside.

Upon your first visit to Visage-Nico, we suggest you provide a list of medications you are currently using — and it’s important to include a list of any products that are a part of your skin care regimen. Due to the wide variety of individual needs of our clients, our services are customized for each visit.

We look forward to meeting with you and please feel free to call or email me anytime.
